Freedom Center 2014
The Hagerman Foundation was excited to hear of the many life changing outreaches taking place at The Freedom Center in Fenton, Michigan. This Assembly of God congregation takes the message of hope to the streets of Fenton, its surrounding communities, and abroad.
“Everything we do revolves around loving God, loving people, and loving to serve (G.P.S.),” passionately stated by Senior Pastor, Jim Weigand.
Their outreaches lead people to God by showing His love in a tangible way. The Baby Closet, Food Pantry, mission trips (both U.S. and abroad), orphan care, and family support (infants – adulthood) are avenues used to reach the community.
“What inspired the foundation to support The Freedom Center is the impact their outreaches are having in the lives of those in our community,” said Jocelyn Hagerman, CEO, The Hagerman Foundation.
The Freedom Center sets out to empower individuals in body, mind, and spirit. Healing the inner parts of one’s heart to break the bondage of all that would keep someone from seeing their true potential. “I’m excited to see all that God will do through this grant, “said Becky Foerster, Executive Director, The Hagerman Foundation.
