The Freedom Center seeks to empower individuals in body, mind, and spirit. Healing the inner parts of one’s heart to break the bondage of all who could keep one from seeing their true potential.
The Hagerman Foundation was excited to hear of the many life-changing activities taking place at The Freedom Center in Fenton, Michigan. This Assembly of God congregation takes the message of hope to the streets of Fenton, its surrounding communities, and abroad.
“Everything we do revolves around loving God, loving people, and loving to serve,” said Jim Weigand, senior pastor of The Freedom Center.
The Freedom Center’s outreach activities lead people to God by showing His love in a tangible way. The Baby Closet, food pantry, mission trips (both U.S. and abroad), orphan care, and family support (infants through adulthood) are examples of avenues The Freedom Center uses to reach the community.
“What inspired The Foundation to support The Freedom Center is the impact their outreach programs are having on the lives of those in our community,” said Jocelyn Hagerman, CEO of The Hagerman Foundation.
